This was the first album i'd produced after upgrading from an old Mac Classic (with small black and white screen, and 4MB of memory) to a G4. For the first time i could actually record and edit digital audio. Half of the tracks on 'cypherhead' started out as MIDI sequences on the Classic, and the others were recorded on the newer system, which made it easier to add voice and effects.

Upon completion, i felt like i'd rushed this project and didn't think it was my best work. But now i hear it as cool and conceptual, with a dark electro tone and treated vocals.
