I recorded 'a seaside light' in 2004 to accompany some silent footage of Fire Island in the mid-70's--which explains the random snippets of dialogue, ocean sounds and samples of vintage disco beats. I think of this piece as an extended ambient/electronic suite which unfolds in three movements, the last being my favorite. The pleasant, looping melodies may remind you of that vacation where nobody at the guesthouse liked you, but you still had fun!
