Story of Nothing, Story of Naught... 'storynaught'. Did our crazy world arise from a primordial nothingness? This is a melodic, percussive electronic album with a nice flow. In fact, the tracks ran together seamlessly on the original CDs (i broke them apart for MP3).

This was the one project of mine which seemed to generate a bit of attention. Steve Lafreniere listed 'storynaught' in Artforum magazine. Internet radio SomaFM began playing a couple tracks and i generally got positive feedback from listeners. The album has an appealing emotional tone and even contains a couple surprise samples. But i guess i wasn't ready to promote the album much further, so i just kept on writing new stuff....

And for the record, i was at that point recording on a Mac G4 which could slice and dice digital audio, add effects and so forth. I thought i rushed on 'cypherhead' so i probably took a little more time with 'storynaught'. My mastering skills still needed improvement.
